The winning song must be written for the contest and owned by the contestant.
Must include the words Wild Salmon
Must be original lyrics and music
Must be submitted in mp3 format with a printable lyric sheet via email to

Opportunity to perform the song live at the festival
A recording will be made of the song
Inclusion of the song on the 2012 Wild Salmon Music Festival Compilation CD that will be sold as a fund raiser for the Middle Shuswap Wild Salmon Society www.WildSalmonSociety.com.
International recognition potential via the festival, facebook and society websites.
